I've had a similar issue. I must use VMWare on my machine for various reasons, and Windows have decided, probably for a good reason, that only one hypervisor can run on the machine. So using Docker locally for me is a major pain in the ass, even though I use the probably most widely used enterprise virtualization stack. Let that sink in for a while.
