I had the same thing happen as well. I upgraded from a OG XL to a 3, and while I love everything else about the phone, it picked up several noticeable scratches within just six weeks. I have a screen protector on it now but it was still very frustrating since I didn't do anything I can recall to merit picking up any damage. Meanwhile, the OG XL still looks new.
