Banning the 737 Max from flying in the U.S. forever would be a good start, I'm thinking. It could be a decent lesson for airplane makers (and self-driving car makers) at least.
- tptacek 7y agoWhy not just ban all of Boeing's planes from flying? That would teach Boeing an even greater lesson.
- etaioinshrdlu 7y agoThe knee-jerk is strong with this one. Sometimes glad we don't have direct democracy or mob rule.
- rcar 7y agoI believe that you missed the /s implied at the end.
- etaioinshrdlu 7y agoYeah, I actually thought it was meant literally...
- mindslight 7y agoPresumably only the 737 MAX is the result of a bad-faith design process.
- yeahitslikethat 7y agoDo that until all the 737max's are fixed and I bet they are fixed in a hurry. But I'm sure your sarcasm means you think the economic impact will be worse than the lives lost in the pursuit of financial preservation. Money is worth more than lives right?
- detaro 7y ago> Do that until all the 737max's are fixed and I bet they are fixed in a hurry. Because fixed in a hurry is what you want in that situation?
- yeahitslikethat 7y agoBoeing doesn't decide if they are fixed. I have no sympathy for a corporation who puts money over lives. They murdered people for money. The company should be ended. Death sentence.
