Some kids in my area have bus pickups at 6:30 am, which is dark in the winter months. Up near the Arctic circle, they have darkness 6 months of the year.

I remember very well that I didn't like it at all. No need to make it worse than it already is.

  If you don't like it, then get the government to change the school hours. It's entirely under the government's control.
