Ask HN: How do you communicate with customers?

Hello guys I'm sure you must have faced similar situation in your start-ups as well. Me and my partner are doing a small online e-commerce business that is mainly done via social media. In a single day I have to talk and message with nearly 30-40 people and I find it difficult to communicate and focus on other work and my day job at the same time. How are you guys managing your time in talking to customers and focusing on other tasks of your business? The problem we fear is that if there is a delay in contacting the customers they might go to one of our competitors. I'd love to hear from you guys in how you deal with customer messages. Cheers
