It’s going to take generations to fix what the Trump administration and republicans like Mitch McConnell have done to this country. Never forget or forgive these assholes.
- yay_cloud2 7y agoNever forgetting or forgiving seems like an ineffective response. My entire being yearns for more.
- diogenescynic 7y agoObama tried that after the Bush admin lied to force us to go to war and it got us 6 years of Mitch McConnell’s obstructionist charades and republicans stealing a Supreme Court seat. Republicans consistently operate in bad faith. We need to prosecute these criminals instead of just moving on like this is normal. Otherwise, we’re just letting norms be destroyed as we lurch towards authoritarianism. The rule of law was under attack before Trump, but we need to take it back before it’s too late. We need to go through something like the deNazification initiative: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Denazification https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Denazification
- mirimir 7y agoYeah. Except that impacts of global climate change will likely be huge before that. So the US is very likely screwed. Irrevocably, at this point.
