I use scoop on my current installation, it works well enough. Autoupdates of e.g. Firefox will mess with version numbers a lot. Many apps can't handle being run from a shortcut to a `current` folder that symlinks to a version folder, which means if you want to pin any of those to your task bar you will have to update that shortcut with every update.
