All those studies base there idea on revolutions long long time ago. Now we have high tech war machines and high tech spying software and machines.
Where you needed ten loyal people to keep 100 to not revolt, you now just need 1 to keep 10.000 silent.
I think the time for revolution is over.
- astazangasta 7y agoConcomitantly the tolerance for abuse has dropped rapidly. It used to be the government was racist and often genocidal, and the public tolerated or participated. Nowadays you cannot shoot and kill some protesters nearly so blithely. The state is armed to the teeth because the fear is greater: the populace also has magnified powers.
