Other times you might need to take pictures expressly for them, or call them after work is completed. to be fair, mazda had the same requirements when my dealership was making engine repairs on my mx5 ... in their case, there was something wrong and they were actively trying to get to the bottom of the failures. i can understand if tesla were doing the same thing: tracking failure modes of specific parts.
