I have a similar slack group. About 7 of us. Some of us worked together remotely. The rest were added slowly. All members are adults well into our careers.

I have a similar slack group. About 7 of us. Some of us worked together remotely. The rest were added slowly. All members are adults well into our careers. It's mostly tech articles with a terse discussion and the occasional lunch Meetup for those in the same city. Probably one or two conversations a week. We might occasionally ask each other advice or pass along potential business, but overall it's an incredibly high sign to noise ratio. It may grow, but I wouldn't want it to be much bigger than it is now.
