I'm curious, do you switch at every fuck up? Then it's only a matter of time until you come back to Firefox, or maybe you'll end up making your own web browser

I'm curious, do you switch at every fuck up?
Then it's only a matter of time until you come back to Firefox, or maybe you'll end up making your own web browser?
- isoskeles 7y agoNo, just this one because it took me more than 5 minutes to not find a working fix, and this was such a massive fuck-up that I don't feel like sticking around. I appreciate the condescension of both your comment and the person I initially replied to, but I honestly see your comments as saying, in more words, "Fuck the user." And that's fine, but why don't you just say it? Go ahead and type it, I want you to type what you really think about the users who are so dumb and fickle that they can't handle something so trivial as not being able to use their precious stupid add-ons like HTTPS Everywhere and uBlock.
- MeltySmelty 7y agokys faggot
- mruts 7y agoAnd operating system, and smartphone, and processor, and video card.
- isoskeles 7y agoHahahah look at all the Firefox fanboys coming out of the woodwork to try intellectual bullying because they're mad I admitted to uninstalling a web browser.
- mthoms 7y agoOr maybe they take offence at your overall tone? You're clearly not interested in being constructive. This kind of toxicity is exactly why many of us have "uninstalled" Reddit and the like. Please refrain from bringing that toxicity to HN.
- isoskeles 7y ago“Many commenters have spent their Saturday morning pushing a narrative that appeals to emotion.” “Toxicity.” Goes both ways.
- dang 7y agoCould you please stop posting unsubstantive comments to Hacker News?
- isoskeles 7y ago> It is too late to listen to reason. Many commenters have spent their Saturday morning pushing a narrative that appeals to emotion. Your comment, my comment, that comment, none of them are substantive. Why isn't that comment removed yet?
- dang 7y agoIt's a matter of degree. Your comments went an order of magnitude further over the line.
- isoskeles 7y agoI am positive my first comment on this thread was not an order of magnitude over the line, if we can quantifiably measure such a thing, and it got censored anyway. "I just switched my browser. Bye bye Firefox." I mean if you want me to be reflective it's really not going to work if we're refusing to admit that either both of these comments should have been censored or the one above should not have been censored. But I get it, life's not fair and the squeaky wheel gets the grease. Firefox zealots get to railroad commenters on HN, noted, I certainly won't engage in these discussions again.
- dang 7y agoI can't consider only your first comment when you posted nine of them.
- isoskeles 7y agoNo, just this one because it took me more than 5 minutes to not find a working fix, and this was such a massive fuck-up that I don't feel like sticking around. Flag it again, for the F word. Flag the comment I responded to as well, for consistency. :)
- colejohnson66 7y agoNo, we’re not flagging you for your use of swear words; we’re flagging you for your lack of construction to the conversation. You clearly are not interested in having a conversation
- isoskeles 7y agoMmhmm. “Everyone who disagrees with me is an emotional idiot!” “Hey I just uninstalled Firefox.” “Flag him!” I await your apology.
