Regarding the UX, bots are actually the perfect technology for this case. The goal is to replicate your self-talk process and that happens through words. Finally, I agree with disliking the chatbots. Alot of them want to showcase cutting edge NLU/NLG tech at the expense of actually providing a service. The goal with Anya is to provide a bot that helps you actually grow as a human overtime and get better data about yourself instead of staying on one-off waffle conversations.
