Tesla has made a habit of drawing conclusions about investigations that have just begun. It is sketchy, and people have noticed.

- studentrob 7y agoAccording to the preliminary report from the NTSB, > At 3 seconds prior to the crash and up to the time of impact with the crash attenuator, the Tesla’s speed increased from 62 to 70.8 mph, with no precrash braking or evasive steering movement detected. [1] This means the vehicle gave the driver less time to respond. I'd argue the manufacturer bears some responsibility.
