High salaries are justified by the absurd cost of medical school. A solution would be to create new public medical schools where tiotion a fraction of the price. Publicly trained doctors can work at cheaper public hospitals. There is a lot of profit in medicine yet almost no competition around prices. The simplest fastest solution, for now, is to pass a law requiring transparent prices!
