Nothing's changed. This is what strong nations everywhere, have always done to weaker ones whenever the weaker one has something they want.
- steve76 7y agoMost people today make our past one-sided and ugly. It benefits a few bad leaders to start with nothing good. Then, they become the celebrities who fixed everything by doing very little, just giving in and paying people with others money. The goal of leadership is to lessen problems, not amplify them. If we did that, things would be nice, yet everyone would have to take care of themselves. It's very difficult to do and very demanding and it frightens most people greatly. I wonder what the world would look like if we really got out of our own way, and ran it a full throttle.
