Doesn't Xe(La)TeX/Lua(La)TeX produce PDFs with decent unicode search support? What issues do you have?
- fxfan 8y agoXeTeX in particular does but my problem is with the uncertainty around the whole process and the frustration when a search fails on a 300 page document
