As much as I love occasionally getting stuff done in a cafe, I find using laptops without an external monitor and keyboard at the right heights gives me posture-related problems if I do it for more than a couple of hours at a time. If I were running my own company and employing remote staff I'd have to think about the workplace health and safety implications if they were regularly working in cafes.
