You're calling bullshit on a paper defining the terms that it is using in the paper?
- bartread 7y agoThe headline's been changed since I submitted. I was calling bullshit on the fact that it appeared to be drawing general conclusions about all software projects based on a survey of open source software projects, which often operate under different conditions to those in commercial organisations. The abstract and title of the paper are somewhat baity, as others have pointed out, but the headline here now reflects the fact that the paper only represents OSS projects hosted in GitHub.
