- Kiro 8y agoThat's patronizing. I am one of those people and I love my life.

- Kiro 8y agoYou have been brainwashed by the HN echo chamber. I feel sorry for everyone hating on Facebook just because that's the opinion in fashion right now.
- inflatableDodo 8y agoI feel sorry for everyone on Facebook. They are using a service where the owner originally thought that anyone who trusted him with their data was, in his own words, 'a dumb fuck'. And really the only thing that has changed since that became public knowledge, given the lack of concern the users show for this statement, is that now he knows that they are.
- unmole 8y agoWait, you are unironically suggesting people on HN are being brainwashed while defending FB? Poe's law is too strong on this one!
- Kiro 8y agoYes. Why are you so convinced you are right and I am wrong? If you're actually brainwashed like I suggest you wouldn't know.
- ethbro 8y agoFWIW, I deleted my Facebook account around the time Farmville came out. Believe that predates the HN opinion of fashion by a bit.
