Tiobe compares search engine queries and lists the most popular languages mentioned in its list. So as an example PHP will naturally end up high on the list and Closure will end up low. Because PHP has lots of irregularities to check, and Closure doesn't. So it might be Swift is simply a better language than ObjectiveC?
