I understand why "VC subsidized taxi rides" runs at a loss, but how on earth does Slack lose money?
- rockostrich 8y agoTrying to grow as fast as possible. As others have pointed out, they could stop spending as much as they do right now to grow the company (employees as well as customers) and probably be profitable. That's not to say that this IPO isn't a cash grab by investors though.
