- tim333 7y agoI'm not sure IPFS uses blockchain? It seems to work like bittorent. Golem I'll give you might be a legit use.
- avinium 7y agoSorry, should have been clearer. Filecoin (from the same company) sits atop IPFS, acting as a cryptocurrency for distributed file storage. IIRC, their ICO was massively oversubscribed a year or two ago, so they're sitting on a great big pile of cash. I don't think it's a viable business model yet, but it's definitely not a scam.
