Anime isn’t deeply embedded in society the way the internet is now. Imagine if you had to learn some Japanese just to access your bank account or buy plane tickets.
- RandomBacon 8y agoI have (Japanese, Spanish, and Korean). I didn't hate the host cultures because of it.
- mikeash 8y agoI don’t mean imagine if you had to do that in order to live in those countries. I mean, imagine if you had to do that in the US, to access your American bank down the street.
