Examples were taken from the book.
The extortion was listed as 'cohersion'. Bribery was listed as such, no prison sentence or fine even. On my kindle it is Loc 76 and 84 of 3214. Taken from the "Encyclopedia of Ethical Failure - Revised September 2016: An Anthology of Unethical Conduct in the US Government."
Since you first denied that government employees were treated different than private business, and then stated that my examples didn't exist... maybe it's time to reconsider why the defensive position against something that is so clearly factual?
P.s. stating that there are negative consequences for government employee behavior doesn't address the assertion that there is a double standard and one is treated more leniently than another. I know government employees go to jail. That's not new. The difference in LENIENCY is what's at issue here.
