- larkeith 8y agoDisable Javascript for wired, it removes everything but a small nav header.
- akkartik 8y agoCan you even disable js on mobile?
- cesarb 8y agoYes, by using something like uBlock Origin's advanced mode, you can disable js selectively (per site), even on mobile. It makes a huge difference on the data usage, which is important when your mobile data is limited.
- donarb 8y agoOn the iPhone, you just go to Safari settings, then Advanced and switch Javascript off.
- larkeith 8y agoYes (for both Chrome and Firefox), and it massively improves browsing experience, IMO. At least for Chrome you can even do site-specific exclusions.
- akkartik 8y agoI see it now: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/934492 https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/934492 I had no idea about:config worked in the Android app as well.
- onion-soup 8y agoWelcome to modern Web
- drexlspivey 8y agoThat's what reader view was made for. Just click it
- djrogers 8y agoIf you're on iOS, try a little blocker app called Unobstruct - it has a share sheet extension that strips off all obstructing overlays (social media sharig stuff, dickbars, etc) when activated. Very effective, and on demand.
