Googling something once to figure out how to do something is an advantage. But, if you constantly google the same task over and over again you should probably put in the effort into learning it. Mindlessly cutting and pasting from the search results such as from stackoverflow can be anywhere from a waste of your time to extremely dangerous. But, on the other hand when it works it makes you much faster than if you tried to solve the problem yourself.
