- padobson 7y agoWow. According to that first chart, the middle class has shrunk 10% since 1971, with the upper class getting 5% larger and the lower class getting 5% larger.
- rukittenme 7y agoConsider the number of retirees on fixed incomes in 1971 versus 2016. The US is getting wealthier and older.
