How I can read this without a subscription?
- jfk13 7y agoLooks like https://www.fnlondon.com/articles/softbank-founder-lost-130m-on-bitcoin-20190423 https://www.fnlondon.com/articles/softbank-founder-lost-130m... is the same article.
- atomical 7y agoThat has a paywall as well.
- jfk13 7y agoOh? Sorry - it doesn't for me. Maybe it's location-based (I'm in the UK)?
- jfk13 7y agoCurious - now it does! The first one's free, maybe? https://outline.com/aN2Nkz https://outline.com/aN2Nkz seems to work.
- martin_ 7y agoI have no evidence of this, but it sadly (probably) makes sense to apply a paywall after N referrals from a particular domain, or even after X traffic over Y time as a social trick for getting people's peers to subscribe

- kurmouk 7y agoIf the click comes from Facebook or Google, you won't need a subscription.
- siphor 7y agosadly not true for me.
- LinxFrmAbve1970 7y agoPerhaps you've got your referrer-blocker on? You must be surfing like RM Stallman. Linkpocalypse Now 1970 edition. It's pretty hairy Sir. Fantastic peak. Stallman don't surf. Thrill all the Donald Knuths. Pipe organ music playing. On the banks of Comic Sans (MS.)
- silversconfused 7y agoTo be fair, the way he surfs is impressively impervious to the threats we worry about bandaiding over every day, and doesn't subject him to non-free code which is an ideal state MANY of us would love to achieve practically.
