Education is not a tulip, though.
- sanxiyn 8y agoHow is it not?
- AnimalMuppet 8y agoHigher education may well be a tulip. Or, it may be for many people. Let me put it this way: Out of a year's worth of high school graduates, how many should go to college? I'm pretty sure that the answer is considerably less than 100% - not all high school graduates are capable of doing college-level work. If college is free, how do you keep those who aren't qualified from going? Yeah, the admissions process - but it's run by the school, which is going to get more money if it admits more students.
