I'm still not convinced microservices and SOA are different paradigms. We were doing SOA with REST ages ago. Everything always boils down to common sense. It seems to me both paradigms lead to similar results. Microservices are just a buzzword for the same thing we did before using current day technologies (node instances, cloud, Docker, Kubernetes, serverless etc).
