Is it only me or are they missing the most important question: will this service have an API that provides a reasonable abstraction and is stable enough to provide backwards compatibility to its consumers? If not, a lot of the independent deployment niceness will become a major nightmare when consumers of the service's API need to be adapted (if that's even possible).
