I suspect this to be a case of confirmation bias. Besides, bee stings hurt, which I would suspect is why there are so many hits.
- decayingFlesh 8y agoOver millions of years, I suspect many insects have acquired a taste for brine, from oceans and marshes to dead animal carcasses and open wounds, to inland seas, rivers, lakes and dead fish. Bees are no different. It's not the human aspect of the tears that makes them special. They're just the right kind of salty.
