Yeah pretty much. I was reading Debt the first 50,000 years by David Graeber and he also expounded that many ideas from Adam Smith's the invisible hand can be found in the economic thought of the Persians during Islamic times. There is a whole revisionist history going on that fails to credit Persians and Arabs for their contributions to Western civilization.
