He makes an interesting statement:
"Science advances when we’re wrong or surprised or both."
- dredmorbius 8y agoTheoretical advances require failures of existing worldviews. They either don't make accurate predictions or explanations, or they fail to account for phenomena. Science is the internalisation of expecting, admitting, and embracing error.
