Money are not needed for parents to be engaged though.
- InitialLastName 8y agoParents who don't need to work two jobs to support their children are necessary though.

- p1necone 8y agoAt an individual level, no. At an aggregate, long term, country wide level, yes. At least good governance and planning and money distribution, possibly not actually more money.
- ThomPete 8y agoThat applies to a lot of things in life not just this so that feels like reaching imo. Sure parents need to be stable not the least financially but they need that to be good parents, good spouses, citizens etc.
- ketzo 8y agoBut I think the point is that it's really incredibly hard to do any of those things unless you have financial stability; at the very least, it's a hell of a lot easier when you do.
- ThomPete 8y agoLife is hard. It's still a different discussion unless you don't think it applies to people who don't have any children.
