6 years ago I used to live in a rent-controlled studio apartment on the Upper East Side. There was a very old woman who lived alone in the apartment above me and one night I saw her eating out of the trash. New York is a tough place to be.
- nadezhda18 7y ago> one night I saw her eating out of the trash this means nothing. The lady can simply have dementia or something like this and even having a loving family and a nurse taking care of her, she still could have eaten from trash. This is the nature of the disease, unfortunately.
