Every job i had as a programmer, the first thing I did was kill VNC and remove it from the startup script. No one ever complained about it. The reason I did so was because I worked as an IT before and I was often asked to dive into someone else computer to monitor what they were doing. Often without their knowledge. Side note: One person that I found particularly interesting was an employee that had been affected by malware. I had him on the phone while I told him I'll access his computer. Right then, this person decided it was the right time to make a purchase online, showing me all his credit card information.
