Driving with autopilot every day, I bet we are 5-10 years off the full self driving panacea that Musk is selling, but I don’t care. The car is blazing fast, safer than I am on my daily commute, and I don’t feel the pang of regret from hitting a gas pump. I don’t buy into Musk’s bluster blindly, but he does accomplish most of what he says he will... just not on the time scale he promised. Seems fine to me though, I like what he promised and honestly I don’t care if my car appreciates, the automatic braking videos sold me.
