Thanks, I don't think I can say it better. When I lived there, it was best to live/work/play in adjacent neighborhoods, and then explore as you found yourself available the rest of the time. I do love the global diversity aspect of it. But I sympathize with those who didn't like it.. it's a really easy town to "miss" on.
