Another similar one, even in person, is someone shouting an (often negative) exclamation and making everyone wait a minute before explaining themselves. "Oh crap!" <long pause as everyone around is panicking, waiting on what actually went wrong> Sometimes something really wrong happened and the person is trying to process it. That's cool. But more often than not, it's like "Oh shit!" <2 minute pause as people ask what happened> "I forgot about my cat's birthday!". Thanks for the dose of anxiety.
