Incredibly well written piece. I think a great point is made that even though we are becoming, on a worldwide level, more culturally liberal (slowly albeit), generally a good thing because we move away from violent misogyny, it is in fact also leading to even more hypersexualization of the female body on the opposite end of the spectrum. To take a random example, now it seems socially acceptable to advertise _absolutely anything_ with sex, which leads to, as the article expresses, the female body being seen as nothing but a symbol of (sterile, hedonistic) sexuality.
