This website is a blank white screen on desktop for me. Perhaps the author can display some partial reason why I should enable JS on this particular domain?

  Because it's a webside dedicated to writing interactive data-visualizations with tools like d3.js with an iPython-style notebook interface. Programmability is the whole point.

    Are you claiming that absolutely no content is possible to show here without js enabled? Not even a sentence like yours? I wouldn't have had a clue without asking. It's basic web courtesy.
