How do you think you compare to Cockroach? Besides the query semantics, I’m curious about the depth of the thought around cross region / cross continent and horizontal scaling concerns?
- 1st1 7y agoEdgeDB is based on Postgres. There're ways of scaling it as Citus Data has shown, and there's a lot of ongoing work in PostgreSQL itself to improve the scalability. We'll be using that as well as actively contributing to further improve it.
