Why would a Australian be provided the rights of an US citizen?
- ikeboy 8y agoEveryone has constitutional rights, not just US citizens.
- belltaco 8y agoDepends. A foreign citizen visiting or working in the US is not allowed to own guns regardless of the 2nd amendment.
- throwawayjava 8y agoGreen card holders may own and purchase guns, and non-permanent residents may also own and purchase guns (but it's complicated). This isn't really relevant to the point you're making in this thread, but figured I'd point it out anyways

- colechristensen 8y agoThe first amendment does not give freedoms to a citizen, it limits the government from abridging the freedom of speech.
