I think the comparison was about personal safety in the event of a collision, not a slight at your cycling ability.
- tomjakubowski 8y agoA cyclist, particularly on a heavy bike, going even 10-15 mph is pretty dangerous for an unaware pedestrian. When people collide on foot at walking pace, it's not too bad.
