In a statement, Airbnb told CNN: "The safety and privacy of our community -- both online and offline -- is our priority. Airbnb policies strictly prohibit hidden cameras in listings and we take reports of any violations extremely seriously. We have permanently removed this bad actor from our platform." It's shit like this, which really makes my blood boil and guarantees that I will never again do business with this bunch of despicable assholes. let me translate that: In a statement, which Airbnb was forced to provide CNN, because of really bad publicity they meant to say: We give exactly zero fucks about the safety and security of our "community". Unless of course it becomes bad publicity, in which case we pretend to actually give a shit. What we mean is that if you want a fighting chance for a reasonable resolution then you should go public and and hope that it goes viral. Then we may actually do something about it How can those PR assholes actually sleep at night?
