Bot Based Appraisal

Hi fellow HNer’s, My company has started a new system wherein our appraisals will be decided by a bot. Is this system present in any one else’s company? Ever heard of such a thing? Any big company anywhere does this? Also, how does the algorithm work? Does it take into account self graded KPA and KRA? Or only managers? Any feedback would be highly appreciated.
