I'm in favor of letting terminal patients pull their own plugs. But I'm not sure it's a selfish thing when we don't allow it. I think it's because we value life so high that we would rather error on the side of caution.. Note. I do think we could be more flexible on this matter.

Exerting one's own values upon a person who values to die instead of be in pain is selfish. Its a my values are more of a concern over your values and when it's the circumstance of the person being in pain that wants to have choice over living or dying.
