I'm not sure this is only Facebook fault. There are products clearly made for age, gender, race... The problem is the companies that abuse it for ads that should not be discriminating. Facebook is a tool. And it is not a tool that will end discrimination. Like knife sellers can't end knife murder. Discriminating for certain things is already ilegal in most countries so just apply fines to companies using this or other tools to discriminate. People should stop assuming that facebook should fix all society issues automatically.
