I couldn’t agree with you more. Shkreli was a symptom of a broken system, not a disease in and of himself. Punishing Shkreli is like treating the symptoms of a disease without addressing the actual causes of the disease: broken health insurance, etc. Shkreli ultimately just trolled the media too hard and they HAD to shut him down because if he kept going he was going to inspire a lot of copycats.
